Lokendra Singh Chouhan is an experienced IT professional with a bachelor's degree in Computer Science and over 10 years of relevant experience in Tools development, Security, and Automation. Currently, he is working as an SDE 4 (DevSecOps, Application Security) at Nutanix where he excels in using a wide range of automation and security tools for assessing the vulnerability of the system and implementing various strategies for mitigating those identified loopholes. In his current role, Lokendra is responsible for developing, maintaining, and integrating tools and scanners for achieving DevSecOps pipeline. He is also involved in developing, testing, and integrating restful APIs, building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, and integrating enterprise-level scanners like Qualys and Rapid7 to continuous scanning pipeline using API. Additionally, he is responsible for maintaining the Vulnerability database, advisory, and creation of API endpoints for their consumption using AWS API Gateway, Lambda, and DocumentDB. Prior to Nutanix, Lokendra worked as a Senior Security Automation Engineer at Nuance Communications where he performed active and passive scans using Burp Suite and ZAP for applications under test. He also automated ZAP passive scans for the application under test, automated dependency checks, and designed a roadmap for "DevSecOps" for the application. Furthermore, he discovered security flaws like broken access control, brute force attack, and improper DMARC record vulnerability. Lokendra also worked as a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer at Nuance Communications where he built BDD Test Automation Framework using Cucumber Python and Java. He evaluated various test automation frameworks, doubled the test cases count while keeping the execution time almost the same, and wrote automated scripts for Image Comparison and Audio Comparison that saved 19 man-hours per month. Lokendra is proficient in a wide range of technologies, including Software Engineering, AWS, Test, Python, MongoDB, Integration, Web, SDET, QA, CI/CD, and Jenkins.
